Here is some information to make your stay at Lorne Surf Apartments safer and more enjoyable.

    • For legal, health and safety obligations all overnight guests must be registered with Hotel management. That includes infants and children.

    • Your keyless entry code is active from 2pm on the day of your reservation until 10am on the day you checkout.

    • When you are check-out, simply pull the door closed behind you.

    • There is one free carpark allocated per apartment/studio. Please respect the needs of other guest and restrict your parking to one car park only

    • Lorne Surf Apartments are entirely keyless and our payment methods are automated so we do not operate a Hotel reception on site.

    • Reservation payments are charged automatically on the day of your reservation.

    • There are security cameras in operation on the Hotel grounds.

    • Management can be contacted by texting 0417 266 450.

    • We love our team at LSA! Rude and abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

    • Free WIFI is available in all apartments and studios, please follow the instructions in the room to access the strongest network for your particular apartment/studio. Occasional outages along the coast can impact connectivity.

    • Non-slip mats are supplied in bathrooms that contain spa baths. Please use these slip mats to avoid injury.

    • To operate the spa bath, switch on the power point marked 'SPA' near the hand basin. Fill the bath tub with water to just cover the jets. To activate the jets push the button on the side of the spa.

    • The green tube - Bath and Body Gel' is the bubble bath soap.

    • There are battery torches available in your studio wardrobe in the event of a power outage.

    • Strictly no smoking in Apartments/studio. If you need to smoke please do so outside and away from other guests.

    • For Guest Code of Conduct, Terms and Conditions please see your booking confirmation email sent to you immediately following your reservation.

    • Linen and bathing products are supplied complimentary.

    • There are ‘Smart Televisions’ in all the apartments/studios, so feel free to dial into your own subscribed entertainment Apps such as Netflix and Stan. But remember to log out again!

    Want to check out one of the local art galleries, feel like a walk to one of Lorne’s waterfalls then head to Lorne Visitor Information Centre and I AM LORNE for all your sightseeing information.

    Riverbank Cafe makes a good Tofu Breakfast Wrap and a date scone to die for!

    On your way to LSA or on your way back to Melbourne check out Mortadeli in Torquay. The fresh baguettes are to die for!

    Also another one not to drive past is Le Comptoir in Aireys Inlet for all things French this side of Melbourne

  • Pizza Pizza is the best pizza on the surf coast, dont leave Lorne before you try it!

    Love a bit of spice in your life? Then head to Raas Leela for some fantastic Indian food.

    Pholklore is a must if you love your noodles in a big way.

    If your happy to drive 15 minutes head to the Wye Beach Hotel, you’ll find incredible views and the schnitzels are pretty good too!

  • Totti's is a bit of a hot favorite with the foodies at the moment. Cuisine is classic Italian (antipasto, pasta, oven fired breads, pizzas, tiramisu). The decor is funky 70’s with a mod-twist here and there and the Martinis are terrific!

    Ipsos is run by a local Greek family who have been a constant in Lorne for decades. You can find some of the best Greek food in Victoria here and probably one of the finest wine lists around too. The vibe is bustling-bistro and it’s a wonderful place to sit on the street on a warm night and share some great food and great wine with your closest friends.

    IntheSkies is one of the dining highlights along the surf coast. Popping up in the much-loved Lorne Bowls Club dining room, the vibe is casual and welcoming with lots of charming touches. It’s not easy to get a reservation (phone 0474260746) and the opening hours are limited but the food is fresh, full of flavor and changing regularly with the seasons.
